Karma's a beautiful stringed Bitch.

I present to you today my lovelies, one of my newly found favorites of Korean Horor, titled, "Cello".

This is one of my favoured Karma tales about what happens when you try to block out your past...because sometimes..it comes back to haunt you.

The story revolves around the beautiful Hong Mi-ju (played by actress Seong Hyeon-ah) and her beautiful family. She is a temp instructor for cello classes, yet refuses to do anything more with the beautiful instrument due to a certain..accident that is now coming back for her and her family.

The movie begins with the end (or so ..you'll figure it out) and the story is well written, no dull spots or dumb quickened endings (like some other Korean horrors I've seen)

So I highly suggest you see this movie if you can online, or rent. Lovely, and a pretty decent twist at the end. As far as scariness, it's meh, a few part may or may not make you jump, but Korean Horrors don't tend to prickle the back of my neck .. I mostly watch them for the story detail and plot anyhow. So I suppose this would be categorized as a drama moreso. So don't get high high hopes for gritty horror haha. . =]

Revelation.

Finally...

I have a callback for an interview!
It's at Macy's as a makeup&beauty Sales and consultant//
Hope I ace the interview.
I know I don't wear much makeup now (due to my lack of money to replace my cosmetics)
but it actually IS something I know quite a bit about and a hobby~ Hopefully they see that.
Chyee.
School starts soon. I'm excited actually. I need something to do. I enjoy work and studying. (weird I know..leave me alone.)
My bf left today...it's meh. Not crying or anything, it's no big. If it works it does, if not, next.

So I shall be starting a new anime soon (Highschool of the Dead) as well as doing a review of a recent Korean Horror that I have come to love titled "Cello" so be on the lookout for that. The movie actually recieves a 9.5/10 for me. I especially applaud the ending and how it's tied together. The story was played perfectly, unlike many korean horror I've seen where the movie is lovely but the ending seems rushed and terrible.
So I'm off. To watch another horror.

I'm going to be working on the layout of this blog probably end of this week and next week.. depends on how busy I am this weekend (I'm getting my hair revamped, braided and longer so expect pic whoring ;D) I think this blog should reflect my loves..which include art horror and fashion. I'll see if I can mix it all into a layout..I hate CSS work :P
(DecemberDiaries will still be the title! I adore that title :3)

Just a heads up on my life thus far. happyhappyjoyjoy? no. satisfied&peaceful? yes

SHINee(샤이니) - Lucifer_Dance ver.

Goodbye...you Lucifer Freakshow.

Interesting title eh? ;)

It will all be explained in due time my lovelies~

Let's work backwards.......

The freakshow tidbit is actually part of the title of my comic, called "Sincerely, Freakshow".

It started out as a big roundheaded character from no lie, 8th grade (yes..been working on the same character for about 5 years and counting) I've always just redrawn the character, added a few minor characters and such, but now I have a final (maybe..) or a rough draft, as well as a rough draft of the title page for the comic. The main plot is your roundabout slice of life that revolves around the main character Abbey, and her two friends Charlotte (the creepy goth witch chick) and Trevor (the mad scientist boy) and how they deal with being the outcasts of the school. (well..they are for a reason, you'll find out why, can anyone say, world domination?) oh and of course, can't forget Abbey's loveable slightly retarded pet mongoose Scraps.

(basically the "in process" of it all...I'll post the final rough draft of the title and any other changes!)
The next "Lucifer" is actually the name of a song by this cute korean boyband named SHINee.
It's actually the next dance I'm learning...it's fast..it's difficult..it's technical..and lemme tell you..
it feels GOOOD to finally do hip hop choreo once again..haven't done it in AGES. I have the beginning tutting session down before they start the first verse :3
I think I'm good. I'd like to challenge a certain prat named coughcough Cruel something or rather..I'll not get into that right now. I'll post the video in a separate entry after this.
And the last piece of the odd title puzzle..the goodbye.
Today was the last time I got to see my boyfriend before he leaves off for college up north.
It's not THAT far but, it's some distance..about an hour. But today was great. Made me remind myself why I'm with this kid in the first place. Ah...what it feels like to be young XD
pff..whatever..not about to get mushy now :P
so that's all kiddies.
I'll chat it up later ;)
stay clean.

sorry sorry sorry sorry..

I like that song.
anyway.
I've got a bit of news.
I'm getting another blog (on blogger)
but.
don't worry
I'm keeping this one.
I think I'll use this one for artsy darksy stuff and well my emotional rambling.
but the reason why I'm creating another blog is because it's going to track my whole journey of college through graduation (or so I'll try)
and will cover school, fashion, asian culture (which I am so interested about) as well as my journey to hopefully becoming an english teacher in either korea, hongkong, or taiwan (am still doing research)
so if you'd like to follow that lil adventure, then feel free to look under my blogs on my profile. I'll be starting up the new blog very soon, mostly working on the appearance and all that jazz..so wish me luck on this~ I am very excited :) almost like I've finally gotten a goal for my life thus far and I am very serious about it !

Pretty Ink.

Although the religion from whence I grew up on is against tattoos and piercings.

I simply adore them.

They are art. They are voice. They are expression.

One type of tattoo that fascinates me is called the Yakuza Tattoo.

Mostly covering the entire body or back, these tattoos take months to years to complete, as the process is usually hand poked making it slow and painful. (top picture).

One of the tattoos I'm getting is one of a hummingbird (my favorite animal).

But I'll be drawing the design myself.

Hummingbirds are delicate creatures, beautiful, magnificent.

Something you are lucky to find if you look out upon the flowers, but saddly are gone within seconds.

Almost like every true beauty on this earth.
